Safe laparoscopy in gynaecology - complication prevention

Laparoscopy represents a traditional surgical approach in gynaecologic surgery. In the past diagnostic procedures were used mainly in

evaluation of infertility, pelvic pain or pelvic masses. With the development of surgical instruments and skills more advanced surgical

procedures are today performed laparoscopically. Laparoscopic surgery requires perfect technological environment and surgical training.

These facts can strongly reduce the incidence of risks and complications with the posibility of so called medico-legals consequences

and litigations. Therefore informed consent is another important part in the strategy of minimal invasive approach. In this article rules

of safety laparoscopy are discussed.
